Small by design: ten residents means our caregivers know each person's history, preferences, and daily rhythms, and families get a direct line to the people providing care. What sets us apart is our ownership. Encompass is owned and operated by a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP, FNP-BC) who serves as our full-time Clinical Director — not an absentee investor group. That means clinical oversight is built into the home, not contracted out: medication management, care plan development, and coordination with physicians, hospice, and specialists all happen under direct advanced-practice nursing supervision. Our clinical leadership also co-authored Embracing Senior Living: A Guide to the Best Care and Comfort, a resource for families navigating these decisions. We believe in aging in place. Memory care is a progressive journey, and a resident's needs at year three won't look like they did on move-in day — but that shouldn't mean another move, another adjustment, or another goodbye. It also shouldn't mean a rising bill every time care needs change. Our pricing is all-inclusive: one monthly rate, no level-of-care tiers, no à la carte add-ons, no surprise fees as needs increase. Families know exactly what they're paying from the first month to the last. For placement partners: we accept residents across the memory care spectrum, from early cognitive decline through end-of-life with hospice support, and we can assess and admit quickly when a family needs a placement now.
